How long is the mix good for in the tank? (apple sauce)

I usually mix what I am going to use for the day but I have heard of it lasting 3 days and up to a week for some guys. A lot of factors also play into it like tempeture, direct sunlight, surfactant and other things you might add to the mix. I learned the hard way that when you add Green Apple by Floromask, it will eat your mix in less then 24 hours. My tip for the day is ... add it just before your ready to apply or you will end up with a tank of ocean water.

Thanks for the info on how long it will last, should I be adding more to the mix then what is in the recipe? I have a box of Simple cherry and plan on ordering some roof snot as well, what is your thoughts? What works best just the basic recipe or adding more ingredients?

If you use chlorine, water, and roof snot you can expect the mix left in the tank to stay good for days. If you keep it closed and cool it should not degrade much faster than chlorine alone.Stay away from the voodoo hyper mix until you have more experience and understand the implications of adding paint de-glossing agents to your roof cleaning mix.

We flush the gutters to clear any standing product. I've heard of people rinsing roofs but I have no experience in that area.

Also, I started with Apple Cider which is very similar to Apple Sauce but just a litlle bit more basic. I try not to rinse because I like to get more dwell time with the application and think mother natures rinse is much more effective. (rain actually has a higher PH then tap water and in my opinion, get's much better results). In cases with realtors, they need instant results for taking listing photos or open houses so in situations like that, I have no choice but to rinse with a garden hose.

We offer rinse if asked. Roof stains in this area take eight to ten years to get to the point of needing cleaned. If you absolutely positively must have them removed right away and insist upon having us rinse, simply add twenty five percent of the cleaning cost to the check and your wish shall be my command.
