Getting Pavers ready for sealing

I would not refund any money at this point. Just go back when it dries with a stiff brush and a blower. If that doesn't work for him use a shop vac and rinse some more or just do the light rinse as you recommended to the customer. He will be happier to know you returned after you got the money. I get calls many times from people who just want to see if I come back. They talk and ask questions and they are happy and I leave. Soon after I might get a referral, not a bad trade at all. I never split the work with the customer, but at least he is left with finishing it which he probably will never do.
 
As part of the quoting check out the drainage, the landscape, where the water settles . The more moss between the paver the worse the drainage. Sometimes I'll take a hose to the area.

Jim great advice. One of the biggest challenges we have is the water laying in low spots.
