I cannot remember the first movie I saw at the theatre right now but I think it was a cartoon.

When I first saw the wizard of oz, the wicked witch of the west scared me! Later on there was a Halloween party down the street and some lady dressed up like her and she scared me! I did not know what to do so I went into their kitchen and got a big steak knife in case she tried to put a spell on me, I was only maybe 7 years old at the time but I was not going to be turned into a flying monkey or anything else. hahahahaha
 
The earliest movie I can remember that I attended was the Gnome mobile, or maybe Mary Poppins. I still love both of them, but I am a sentimental kind of guy.

Thats funny, I saw Starwars on a test in winter haven Florida 60 days before they released to the world.

Seriously,,,,,??? Y'all can remember the first movie you ever saw? Haha! I can't remember what I watched on TV last night. :confused: LOL...

I do remember the theater though. It was the Darlton Theater in Pawtucket RI. We saw a lot of movies there growing up. I do remember seeing "the Apple Dumpling Gang" with Don Knotts. WOW!!! That was a long time ago. That was also where I saw the movie "Jaws" for the first time too. Hey,,, it's all coming back to me now.
 
Man it was a Big day, got all dressed up to. Walk accross the street to the soda fountain and had a shake.

I don't remember my first movie. But I know it wasnt in a theater it was at the drive in's. The next town over had a double screen, the town past that had one screen. I remember mom & dad always taking us to drive in's in the spring & summer when we were real small, great family times, playing on the playground was the best before the movie and then we would eat hamburgers and fries, popcorn and soda

Im like JL, I remember going to the Drive-In as a small child. I remember getting on my PJ and getting in the car. I always woke up the next morning in my own bed. I remember getting to eat popcorn in my PJ's, I thought that was so cool. Because at home once you had on your PJ's eating was over. But you could eat breakfast in your PJ's, go figure.
 
I am now left with a frightening visual of Mike T in his PJ's. Thanks so much for that Mike.

Yeah, playing at the play ground at the bottom of the screen all the way through the movie. Saw Jaws that way
