awning cleaning

What does everyone use to clean cloth commercial awnings, its an entertainment complex and they are treated with something as water does bead off them. Just some dirt, dust, not very dirty.

Use your soap tip. You might need to do some lite scrubbing. Do not use any pressure. Rinse with your soap tip also

I've used a light house wash mix as well with great results. Just do a small test spot to make sure it's color safe.

However, consider using this product by Winsol. Being able to seal the awnings afterwards will prevent them from becoming dirty quickly.

$59.97 isn't it too expensive? There must be something as effective as this but cheaper for commercial use.
I think chlorine is harmful for awnings when cleaning is repeated on weekly/monthly basis.

The $59.97 product is the "Awning Armor" - which is a sealer with UV blockers. You would use this after the cleaning. It treats upto 10,000 sq ft of awning.

The "Deep Clean" - is for heavy soiled awnings and can clean upto 7,000 sq feet of awning.

The "Awning cleaning and protectant", the $29.97 product treats 5,000 to 10,000 sq ft. This is probably the product I would use, as Jeff said the awning wasn't very dirty. Being able to tell the client that you're not only cleaning the awnings, but you're protecting them at the same time would be well worth the cost, in my opinion.

That product states that its for vinyl awnings. Jeff said the ones hes doing are fabric and have a sealer on them already. Can you use it on both?

I'll give it a try. How many sq ft does the deep cleaner cover (more or less) or what is the average dilution?
