Parking lot bid

Does anyone have any sugestions on a bid for cleaning a parking lot. I need to prepare a bid on cleaning one that totals 53,000 sq. ft. It is an asphalt parking lot at a resturant. I am also giving a bid there on other flat work and awnings, I have that figured out ok. They did not say so, but if I give a decent price I might be able to get another 6 resturants in the area on a contract .

parking lots

are you worried about EPA? Are you recapturing the water for your disposal or going to pump it into the grease trap? What chem are you going to use? asphalt is made up of oil so be carefull.
Might want to think about doing the flat work and sub out a street sweeper to do the lot.

Ive got a request from a p/m to clean the sidewalks at a condo complex. They also want the asphalt parking lot cleaned.

This is where im stuck. Ive thought of telling them I can either blow it off Or we can rinse it. Its about 35k feet.

Im not sure where to price either of these but Id really hate to just turn down half of one of the first est. theyve looked for.

Chris your right on with the parking lot. Offer one or the other or both. That way you and the PM are on the same page for pricing and scope of work. Just depends on what their budget and needs are. Not much you can do with asphalt honestly. Then which ever one they choose you'll just have to price accordingly. Theres really no industry standard for things like that.

I take it you have your pricing scale for the sidewalks correct?
