a good percentage of the founding fathers were ministers. At that time virtually every school of higher learning was religion based. If it werent for ministers getting involved we'd still be under british rule.
Be careful, the idea our country was founded on anything other than protestant religion is historical revisionism. Don't fall for it. Please investigate this yourself, Matt.
