MONROE TOWNSHIP — Dena’s Kitchen at Dunbar and S. Dixie Hwy. will be closed after a fire ignited early this morning, just days after a fire shut down another restaurant a short distance away.
Monroe Township Fire Inspector Calvin Schmitt said a passer-by noticed smoke emitting from the roof vents at the restaurant around 1:30 a.m. A similar situation occurred at Mugsy’s Sports Bar & Grille, which is just down the street on S. Dixie Hwy.
