Fire at Lindbergh Field causes evacuation

SAN DIEGO — Dozens of travelers at Lindbergh Field were briefly evacuated Saturday morning when a small grease fire erupted at a restaurant in Terminal One.
The fire broke out around 8:15 a.m. at the Yan Dan restaurant in the pre-security area of the terminal. Fire sprinklers put out the fire and San Diego firefighters responded and cleared the smoke. No one was injured. Travelers were able to return to the terminal within 25 minutes of the evacuation, officials said. The restaurant will remain closed Saturday for cleanup.
