This shingle cleaner is not sold in stores or to individuals at this time. We only apply it to the shingles of our clients and are applied only by our own in house certified roof cleaners. It can be described in the same sense as Scrubbing bubbles because we have added surfactants to allow it to stick to the shingles so the cleansers can remove the roof algae from the shingles.
Our procedure is as follows:
We remove any furniture and plants that are in the way of our cleaning areas.
We wet down any landscaping around the house as well as the house itself.
We then apply our shingle cleaner to the entire roof shingles and apply a second coat to heavily soiled shingles.
During the entire process we keep wetting down the landscaping and the house itself.
We then allow the shingle cleaner to remain on the roof in order to keep the cleaning process in constant contact with the shingles. This step keep the shingles cleaner longer and is the reason why we offer a 5 year warranty on every roof we clean.
