Air problems at La Rotisserie send 6 to hospital

Six people were taken to the hospital today after feeling lightheaded at La Rotisserie restaurant in Newton, according to Newton fire officials.
The people hospitalized felt lightheaded while in the restaurant and were transported to Massachusetts General Hospital to test their levels of carbon monoxide, said Lieutenant Kevin Clinton.
The restaurant, located at 17 Boylston St., closed this afternoon to examine a problem with its exhaust hood, said someone who answered the restaurant’s telephone but would not give his name. The problem is currently being fixed, and La Rotisserie will reopen tomorrow, he said.
