The Spice Island Cafe in Mountain View was damaged in a one-alarm fire late Saturday morning, according to the Mountain View Fire Department.
Firefighters responded around 11 a.m. to the restaurant at 210 Hope St. and located a kitchen fire inside, fire officials said.
The blaze was quickly brought under control and no injuries were reported, according to fire officials.
The flames damaged the kitchen area and hood's duct system that extends to the second story.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
