Grid to place in 5 gallon bucket to roll paint against
Purdy latex XL inch Brush
Rubber back drop cloths(Various sizes)
Dap spackle to repair small holes in sheetrock
Sanding blocks
Caulking gun
Sherwin Williams 35 year latex caulk
Blue tape
When you hire our Interior House Painting Services, here is what to expect. All furniture is moved to the center of the room and covered with poly plastic. All electrical plates are removed and tape used to cover the outlet plugs. We tape along the edge of all the base as to not get spatters when rolling. We then patch any holes or dings in walls. If there are any stains on the walls such as pen or water, we will use the proper stain blocking primer on those areas. After everything is dried we scuff sand all the entire walls and dust from top to bottom as well as vacuum up dust. We then apply a full coat of cutting in edges and rolling in all areas smoothly. We will then determine if more paint is needed to complete the project, but we are 99% of the time right on buying the right amount the first time. After proper drying time we will then cut and roll each wall keeping the edge wet so that cut and roll blend in. After this is dried we will apply a caulk bead along base lines, edges of cases, under crown molding and where the window frame meets the inside of the wall to give an airtight seal. We then will ask you to do a walk through to inspect the areas we painted and if your satisfied we will then clean up and place all furniture as it was. We also leave the remaining paint labeled for touch up in the events you cause damage to your walls in the future. this entire process takes up a little over 2 hours for a 12×12 room walls only.
