ANAHEIM – A fire in the kitchen of a Jack in the Box early Wednesday morning caused a cloud of smoke visible from a half-mile away.

Fire department spokeswoman Maria Sabol said a grease fire was reported at 5:43 a.m. the Jack in the Box at 22100 S. Harbor Blvd. A total of 13 firefighters responded and had the fire under control in about 45 minutes, Sabol said.
