window cleaning methods needed...

Do any of you guys use your pw to wash large windows (restaurant style)? I'd like to get your opinions on low pressure soaping three or four at a time, brushing them with a window washing brush, rinsing, then squeegy them dry? I'm thinking it would be faster and clean the window frames as well. I've done windows before with nothing but a bucket a window brush and squeegy. It took FOREVER and many redos in the sun.

You're taking a two-step process and making it a three-step process.
It's a lot faster to soap it down and scrub at the same time with an 18" (or larger) window scrubber and immediately squeegee it. If you practice a little you can scrub and squeegee at the same time, using both hands.

If you're having trouble with windows drying, then it might be your soap. Too much suds dries really fast in the sun. Try some Glass Gleam 4.

Of course if you hate the squeegee there is always the option of going WFP.

As for the soap mixture you only want to see a few bubble, just enough to make the squeegee glide across the glass. I would agree that in the sun using two hands and just having one follow behind the other with little soap and lots o wet is a good method. Although these days we use use a water fed pole for just about everything.
