I do it for the love of the work. Since retiring from the Sheriff Office in 2005, this is all I have been doing, except for the daily honey-dos. I made a promise to myself once I retired that I would never work for anyone else again, nor do I have too. I may not do as much work as most of you folks, but I try to keep busy whether it is doing a Pressure Washing job or working around the house. The bottom line to me, isn't the money, but the happiness I get working for others and the satification of knowing I am doing something to help other feel good. This is something I always had when I was a Deputy Sheriff. That is why my vote is for the love of the job. Hugh:D
 
It's all about the money!! I do enjoy this work, but the bottom line is always the money..
 
i enjoy working out doors and after being in the army for 22 years i love the freedom. nobody makes me jump and run except the wasp.
 
I am starting this buisness for a few reasons; 1. To be my own boss. 2. The money. 3. To stay out of an office and work outdoors.
 
I love this biz. I origannly got into it becuase of the low start up cost and I had done it a couple times. Then I saw the potential for growth here in the south and of course everything needs cleaning eventually here.

I really enjoy everything (almost everything lol) about the biz. I like making customers/property managers happy, I have really enjoyed growing my biz, I like the finished product and the praise I have gotten from customers that say the other guy didnt get it clean or the other guy never showed etc etc. Its fun and the MONEY is DARN GOOD
 
I truly love doing this work. I mostly do residential work. I live in a town with population less than 4,000. Not enough commercial to do commercial. Not enough residential to make a living do that either. But I love the work. I hoped for more money. Thank goodness I'm retired Army. I'm still hoping to convince more people that their filthy house needs cleaning. Also, it's great to meet all the friendly customers.
 
I love this work also. That's why relocated, to do this year round.
I'm kind of neat freak, so this fits my personality.
I truly enjoy customer interaction, but most of all I like working for
myself. To fail or succeed fall directly on my shoulders and I love
that challenge.
BTW the money is not bad either.
 
Besides the $$. I love working with my hands and in the outdoors. Have your customers appresciate your work is very uplifting. I like working with people. And I like PWing.

I pressure wash because if I didn't my machine would just sit there... It looks better sitting at a job site .. plus I like to here the motor run.. I like getting attention, I like the WOW factor when I clean stuff for people ,, espically nasty ,greasy,slimy,vent hoods.. but most of all I like all the Benjamin's in my wallet...
 
I do it so I don't have to get a real job.:rolleyes:
