I am thinking of using Soy Gel to strip sealant off of pavers. The company says it will work. The customer has beautiful landscaping near buy and his in the ground pool is open so i want to use something non toxic, plus i like the idea that this stuff wont kill me...lol i realise it is expensive and i have put that in my estimate. So who has experience with this and can give me some guiding points?Thank youCharles

I just use it for graffiti and its awesome. I did strip some kind of hardened sealer of a large flagstone fountain/waterway - few hundred square feet and it worked great. It goes really far so it is actually pretty cost effective. You could could cover with plastic if it needs to sit a long time, it hardly dries anyways.

Ive had ok luck with it trying to strip paint from decks. I think it is best to apply with a sprayer for even application. I used roller and brush which was difficult. Plastic on top is good it needs time to work. Do in the shade if possible. Best scenario is to apply late afternoon, cover, and wash first thing in the morning. Of course I was trying to eat 7 coats of latex so maybe sealer isnt as bad

I don't think the stuff I'm using would go through a sprayer, its thick and oily and doesn't dry up.

I agree not sure how it would go through an airless sprayer. best stripping products that will work with an airless I have found would be Sea To Sky Products http://www.sea2skyglobal.com/ I'm sure there would be a distributor in North America somewhere. Non toxic and biodegradable too.

They recommend using an airless paint sprayer
