If you are licensed to do business as a Power Washer within the jurisdiction of the body holding this meeting (Las Vegas Storm water authority) consider this your invitation.

I fail to see how this meeting would have anything to do with your business otherwise.

If you would like the UAMCC to help in your area please send the details of that request to info@uamcc.com, send me the contact info for your local AHJ'S, and I will be glad to make a similar presentation for you.

I'm curios to know what this presentation will exactly entail?

Will you be using your equipment to show the public how contractors clean or speaking about what contractor do you in area?

If we are speaking about just your area what kind of relationship do you have with your competitors in your area?

Do your competitors know what you are doing and what kind of steps are you making to get them involved?

Will you also be sending out emails and making phone calls to other contractors in your area to view or participate in this presentation?

Go back and read any of my hundreds of posts on this issue and find the answer to those questions.

You days of taking shortcuts and coming to the wrong conclusions are over.

Study or quit complaining.

They are legitimate questions, not complaints. if you can't be the professional and answer the questions then I hardly see how you going to "represent" your area. This is the first time I've heard that you're going to be making this presentation in your area, so if there is another thread that also states this please share it with the rest of us. It seems to me that you are trying to do the same thing you accused another group of doing yet covering it with "trying to fix what they did." Is that about right Tony? So why not answer the questions? Or are the too hard for you? You said yourself I can ask the questions, so here I am asking the questions.

Kris, what are you trying to achieve? What is the outcome you are looking for in having your questions answered?

I think I can read between the lines in what you are getting at - so here's your chance, let the cat out of the bag.

Please don't read the tone of my words as confrontational (I'm enjoying my weekend and couldn't be happier with my life - just so you know where my head is at).

As a member of the UAMCC, I am more than happy with our approach to environmental issues and with those we have chosen to represent us in putting forward an alternative, fair approach.

If your questions are intended to antagonize, please stop. If they are part of cementing what you envision for our industry and related environmental issues, please clarify your stance. Perhaps we can then put all the posturing to one side and get productive.

Thanks for your time and attention.

I'm trying to achieve the truth to the questions I asked. The outcome is up to Tony and how he answers. I am not looking for a particular outcome.

Here is my problem (and tony can correct me if I'm wrong); From my understanding and according to the UAMCC directory there are only two companies servicing the entire Nevada state. I don't see how the environmental chair of The UAMCC is going to "represent" his fellow contractors in his area with-out their permission and/or participation. I can see him speaking about the issues, and thats fine. Lets not get ahead of ourselves and say that he represents his area and all the contractors. He represents himself and his son's company as The Environmental chairperson of The UAMCC. I think it needs to be made perfectly clear not only his intentions, but what and who will he be representing during this presentation. If he is representing himself and his company then I see no problem here. If he is representing The entire UAMCC (2 members in Nevada) or he is saying he represents all of the pressure washing companies in his area, then I have a problem with that.

It's actually simple Kris if you bother to pay attention and not read into it what you want to hear. Tony will be speaking as the UAMCC Environmental Committee Chairman. He will be helping to clear up some of the lies that Robert and his crowd have been spewing for years. In essence he will be fighting for the contractors and not against them.

But you have no problem with people that have no business in Nevada contacting regulators there telling them their BMP's may be illegal thus regulators will revisit regulations possibly making them more restrictive.

And the problem you have is Contractors that live and belong in this area are trying to protect the way they feed their Families from from people that have no business in their area trying to make regulations more restrictive?????

So what you're saying is that you are for more restrictive regulations?

Is that what you're saying Kris? Please explain your problem again?

Essentially you are gunning for another argument then - comparing UAMCC activities with that of the garage cleaning event and surrounding email/phone call activities to Nevada regulators.

Do you have a stance on the manner, tone and precedent set of said regulator contact initiated by event organizers?

Can I also ask why you paid to join the UAMCC? I assume you did your due diligence and read through the UAMCC site to see what the organizations approach would be...

"The UAMCC will be working with municipalities in developing contractor friendly stormwater Best Management Practices."

If you can cut through the BS for a couple of minutes, drop the 'investigator' facade, put aside your confrontational personality - it is pretty clear what Tony is doing, who he is representing and that it is a contractor-friendly approach.

I ask you again, and seek a semi-coherent response - what is the outcome you seek? It is not 'up to Tony', Tony's objectives are clear. It is you that is muddying the waters.

You state you are not looking for a particular outcome - well, why get involved in any of this discussion other than to argue? I think you know the outcome you want.

Here we go again with the nonsense, mis-direction and poisoning a good thread.

It is really time for this nonsense to go away.

It is more than obvious that since some people are banned here, there is someone else here to run interference or to cause issues or to mis-direct like he does in most of the threads he is in.

He is not here trying to learn, just to cause trouble my mis-directing threads which caused one thread of fraud to be divided into 2 separate threads. If he had not participated in that thread it would still be 1 thread showing how someone represented himself as someone he was not and committed fraud in several ways.

I am not trying to bash him here, I am just stating the obvious, he is jut here to cause trouble, whether it is on his own or is being told to by others, either way his comments are not being productive here in this thread, just here to cause trouble.

I have received 7 phone calls in the past couple weeks asking what is wrong with this guy and why he is not gone already. I told them that it is not my place to do this and I don't know why he comes into threads to cause trouble but that is what happens in most of the threads he participates in. I don't know why he does this but it sure looks like he is doing this for a reason and we all can guess why.

Ok, back to the nonsense and mis-direction.

But you have no problem with people that have no business in Nevada contacting regulators there telling them their BMP's may be illegal thus regulators will revisit regulations possibly making them more restrictive.

I have no problem with someone wanting to host an event in my area and calling my local regulators to get the facts so when they are speaking about regulations they got the facts straight.

And the problem you have is Contractors that live and belong in this area are trying to protect the way they feed their Families from from people that have no business in their area trying to make regulations more restrictive?????

We are talking about TWO contractors of the same family. We're not talking about an entire state here or even an entire city. I have no problem with someone wanting to protect their livelihood. However in this situation I hardly see how representing The UAMCC or the entire area he wants to is going to help everyone in his state. All I see is him helping himself.

So what you're saying is that you are for more restrictive regulations?

Too many times I have heard about lowballers. What if one day they were gone? I have low ballers here working for pennies and taking jobs from credible companies with License and Insurances like myself over and over again. If raising regulations is what it takes to get rid of them, then absolutely I want stricter regulations.

Is that what you're saying Kris? Please explain your problem again?

I don't think I can be any more clearer.

I don't think I can be any more clearer.

So because you can't compete on the merits of your business, the quality of your service, you need/want stricter regulations in order to compete?

So you would sabotage other hard working Compliant Contractors that have been in business much longer than you have with stricter regulations so your business can compete because you can't compete on your own merits?

Kris, I would like to thank you for being honest and telling the truth about why you support stricter regulations while others lie and hide from their reasons. I in no way agree with your reasons, but I applaud you for telling the truth.

No I don't think you can make it any clearer Kris.

I thank you too Kris... It is now clear what your view is. This makes it easier to understand where you are coming from with your questioning.

As for the lowballers, my advice to you would be to not worry about them, we don't, and we do alright.

My definition of a low baller in my area is not a Compliant Contractor. You are very good at twisting words to fit your needs. I have legitimate contractors out here in my area that I respect very much and in no way would having stricter regulations affect them enough to go out of business. But the guy that buys a home depot pressure washer and works for pennies, those are the guys that with Stricter regulations would go bye bye.

You, nor guy can understand how flooded my county is with low-ballers because your not here. That and you probably have some strict regulations that keep the sort of low ballers in my area out of your area. Tell me how you compete with someone that is doing your same service for the 10th of the price you charge?
