Hostgator is the best hosting site that I have dealt with. I had godaddy for a couple years and you are very limited with their service. Hostgator's cpanel is VERY important if you want to do some cool stuff with your site.

I have my own dedicated server. I can host your website for $6.95/mo. That goes for anybody else looking for hosting too.
It's all real and legit just like hostgator, godaddy or any other big hosting company. Ask Ron Musgraves how many times National Cleaning Expo has been down. NCE has been hosted on it since Day 1. It's also a high volume site.
You get a control panel and the yada yada yada just like the other companies offer.

It has a self install for Joomla and has a few templates that come with the installation of Joomla. However I do not have carry a selection of Joomla templates.
Yes it comes with Cpanel. Where you can install scripts, emails, basically whatever.

Host Gator all the way. I've been hosting with them for over 4 years now. I am currently running over 10 completely different websites and web applications.
Customer support (technical support) is very very important for the smooth run of a webpage. These guys have awesome customer service (live and chat) in the States.
Their C Panel is absolutely complete, updated and provides very user friendly control. You dont need to be a web developer to control your own web space and website.
Speed is another factor you should consider. Host Gator is a champ here as well

Go Daddy is good only for buying domain names. Their servers speed is just ridiculously slow.
Their customer support is quite ignorant and is good only for picking up their phones and say the welcome words "thank you for choosing.."
It adds even more anger in me since they charged my paypal account without asking me for over 10 domain names (for 2 years each) I don't use and would not renew.

I use justhost looks like the same setup as Matts.
Matt get in touch so I can switch. If its the same setup for around the same price and i actually know who i'm paying I am all for it!

we use one web hosting and it has been great 15.99 a month
