- Ask about water when you book the job. Is there a working spigot? City water or a well?
- Be careful on wells. Ask first. You don't want to run their well dry or burn up their pump.
- Keep a buffer tank so a weak spigot doesn't starve your machine. Fill it while you set up.
- Hydrants and bulk fill stations usually need permission, a meter or a permit. Call the water department and ask. Don't just hook up.
- Find out what your area requires for backflow protection. Protect their water supply and yourself.
- Only haul a full tank when the job has no water. Water is heavy and costs you fuel.
