Is the transformer for the burner? I'm not sure how the hot water side works, I only have a cold water unit.
Wow Vince at least it heats the water to more than 150 degrees. My hydrotek that is less than a year old will not even get much over 150 degrees.Called hydrotek they act like a bunch of bullies that act like they can do no wrong.I had several an never had any problems but when you do they will talk crap an even curse you if you suggest there product has something wrong with it.I would never ever buy another one or deal with the powerwash store again.I have a over priced non heating pile of shit for a washer. If i wanted to buy cold water i would haver bought from envirospec an had a nice unit like i sold to get this hydrojunk lol.
I can believe that Envirospec would give you problems. I have had John Allison call me and rip me a new one when I decided to not go with his equipment. I have also had terrible service from his parts side, by them shipping something that I did not want and claim it was better. Nothing like having hose last two weeks that normally last 8 months. I have had nothing but excellent service from Powerwashstore. They are not the same. Paul and his crew are excellent.
Vince, I am about of the opinion that you are really hard on equipment. It seems everything that you have that I have had excellent results with, you have problems.
I have a fleet of Water Dragons, and though there have been some problems, over all they have proven far more reliable than other equipment I have used. Mine wasn't ignitors which Vince called transformers. Mine was thermostats. However, I never had a problem with Powerwashstore stepping up to the plate and taking care of it.
I would look into Power Line Industries trailer packages. I researched countless pressure washing companies & units, and I went with their Pro 1 package. it operates a 23 hp Vingurd engine, 115 v burner, 66 series Genral pump, 330 gal tank, true 2 guns system,2 100 ft high pressure hose reels, 1 100 ft water hose reel. I had a 4000 w generator & reclaim system custom installed on it. I can operate at 3700 psi, 212 deg F at 8bpm!! I will be adding a soft wash roof system to the trailer as well...cant do all this with hydrteck or water dragon units! I looked at both Hydroteck and Water Dragon units and was not impressed by their engineering designs. They both and to many limitations in my opinion. I work in the oil field and know a top of the line design when i see one....POWWWW check it out on my web site! Good Luck and be Safe out there!
I looked at PowerLine industries a few years ago....found out A) they were really overpriced and B) they sub their builds out to a company here called Ram Tek and C) Ram Tek doesn't service equipment, even ones they build....at least they didn't at that time.
