It has been raining all day in most parts of Mississippi, and I was thinking do themen and women of the P.W.I. ever wash houses, roofs, bldgs, concrete in the rain?
How does this affect your jobs?

Seems as if I have spent most of my life working in the rain, and I have.

This guestion came about today while unclogging a house(very steep roof) From the vent.Of course in the rain.

So,just wondering What Do You Do in the Rain?

We wash in the rain all the time - as long as it is not a drenching downpour. Rain can work to your advantage far more often than to the detriment of the job.

Pretty much what we don't do in wet weather is detail & seal decks, try to lay concrete, color or seal those projects.

Welcome, you need to fill in your signature..

rain aids in rinsing, who doesn't wash in the rain?

Really we don't usually work in the rain but it just depends upon the timeline were working on and what else we have to do in the following days

Welcome, you need to fill in your signature..

I will do so later, more to the point my daughter will.

I'am behind the times, but slowly catching on to this computer thing.

Ladies and Gents, please bear with me.Thanks.
( I operate Collier Maintence and Sewer in Jackson Ms. 601-613-2678)

If I am already working when it is raining then since I am already soaked, a little more water won't hurt but if it is pouring before I can even leave the house then I will wait until it lets up some, too many crazy people on the road getting into wrecks.

you can wash anything but roofs. . .IMO . . .

yup. metoo

i love pressure washin in the rain.. i have a thing called a rain suit, lol they're nice guys.. flatwork is wonderful in the rain, poolcages.. house washes come out just fine and i dont see myself using to much more chemical..

Hmm, interesting. I have never washed anything in the rain, doesn't it wash the solutions off before they can be effective? Seems to me you would need to use more solution to counter the rain, which isn't really worth it?

Pat, you do use more chems, but not that much more. If you put off because of the rain then the rest of the week is behind. Cleaning gutters is the worst when in rains, but it has to be done.

I don't like getting wet! Hahaha! :D NO, Seriously though, if it starts raining while we are out working I always keep going. (Roofs being the exception). However If I have not left the house yet and it is a good steady rain that looks as though it's not going to let up for most of the day I will reschedule.

I must be a girly man. I will finish a job if it starts raining. but I wont start a job. but most of our rain is 20 minutes long and downpours
