Vegas Pressure Washers

Hey I was in Vegas this Sunday night/Monday morning at about 3 am. I was walking from the MGM Grand to the Aladdian. I passed 6 diffrent PW companys doing flat work.

WOW is competition feirce or is there plenty of work to go around?

Besides at the Roundtable , I have only seen 2 PWs near me.

The problem in Vegas is, some guy goes into business, underbids horribly, gets the jobs, but can't stay away from the gambling and free booze or pay his bills with what he makes, and goes belly up in 3 months. But now the customer is sure he knows what a fair price is. We don't push the pressure washing unless we tie it in to a hood and duct job.
(hope this posts ok, it's my first.)

Karen,

Nothing at all wrong with your post. Keep posting. My name is Justin from Ohio. Nice to meet you and welcome to the board.

Hey karen, with the strict reg in vegas, how is the competition in the hood business? Here anyone with no brain and a water hose can call himself a hood cleaner. LOL

I am in Hillsborough, I should rephrase that statement I have only seen 2 other PWs ever working near me.

It case you don't know Hillsborough is Between Bridgewater and Princeton

Hiya Bryan,
The big advantage to the regs here in Vegas is keeping the customers on a decent schedule. Competition is tough, because of the casinos drawing in the national companies. And you always have the dirtballs working out of their truck, no fire marshall license, no certificate, and no insurance, and restaurants that don't care. Until they get caught, then they call because the inspectors gave 'em a week to get done.
So, in WV, just a business license? I also think you have to drive more than we do.

Most of my work is between here and the DC and Baltimore area, so yeah driving is a big part of it. It is 70 miles to DC from my office.
I do have a job 2 miles from my office, the crew can leave here and be back in 2 hrs. However I always seem have somewhere else for them to go. LOL
