Up and Down Temps

Hey Wiz,

I just put a new themostat on my Hotsy machine from the dealer.

Now the temperature is fluctuating terribly. If I set my thermostat on 104, the burner goes until the water temp is about 150 then shuts off until the water temp goes down to about 80.

Then it starts back up and goes to 150 and so on.

I knew something was up so I installed an inline temp gauge to monitor the temp.

What can I do. BTW, the burner is a brand new Beckett S class burner and my machine is 5.6 gpm at 2100 psi. Hotsy model 954

Take it back and get another one Sometimes even new parts are defective.
