Trash Pump

Found some info. on this subject but needed a little more can you take a 5.5 h.p. trash pump and turn it into a chemical sprayer by adding a roller pump. Thanks for any help....

Most likely not. Centrifugal pumps use engines that have straight crankshafts, no keyway, and threaded on the end to hold the impeller.

You could change the crankshaft, but it wouldn't be cheap.

I'll take it apart and see what i have it would make a good little unit if it would work....
