Trailor rig and Truck size

I'm looking into the purchase of a trailor mounted unit. I'm wondering what would be the ideal size of a water tank to buy with it 250gal. 350gal. 500gal. I'm not sure. Right now all I have to pull one with is a 03 chevrolet astro van with a v6 engine. I really doubt that it could pull a unit with a full water tank and not blow the trans. out the ying yang. Any suggestions? When considering a means to haul it what vehicle would be best?

GET A v8 VAN OR TRUCK

hey

I have a trailer mounted unit, I use 200g tank, I dont drive around with the water, I leave a little in it if i do a demo, and i pull it with a 2006 F250 super. But a F150 is great. If you have a 200+ g tank I dont think you should drive around with the water, takes longer to stop, bad on brakes, and bad on gas.

Tell me about it....we have a SuperCrew F150 that we pull our new trailer with....it gets a little rough when we are towin around 300 gallons of water plus the skid and all the chems on board. We want to get a SuperDuty with a diesel, but its just not in the budget. We have to make do with what we have,

A NEW 08' Superduty...ugh IDIOT :)

We have some jobs where there is no water on site and I have to fill up at a hydrandt and lug the water to the site - it really sucks. BTW - Just a note here, dont get white company shirts when you have women working on the crew

Water + White TShirt = Really Happy Customers (If they are men)

Right now I'm stuck with my astro van. But maybe one day I can upgrade to a truck that can haul a trailor unit without any problems. I should have put a little more thought into it before I bought the van. But it works great for window cleaning and hauling my pull behind pressure washer around.

This is mine

95' 1/2 ton gmc z71 v8 12' flat bed skid 325gal leg 35 gal leg and a 45 gal mixing tank that goes on the back trailer brakes loose a little on gas milage but it works but i agree that hauling water around is pointless unless absolutly nessesary
