Last night one of my crews were cleaning a national chain. The next morning I come to find that they pulled out of the job - WHY? No joke, a group of homeless people were living on the flat open roof-they were aggressive and my manager had a safety concern and pulled off the job. I called the head of the division and he said that he thought they had gone. They said they would take care of it.

He "thought" they were gone. Thats just nasty, just what people that eat below that need homless people urinating and deficating on top of the restaurant they are eating at.

You got me-I just don't know, who would give them the idea to do this, camp on a roof-8 people.

Awfully windy on the roof. I would have found a better spot. But then again your less likely to spotted on a roof, that is until A 1 Air Vent catches you.

Believe it or not a pool room i owned in Tempe Arizona had a great roof to sleep on. Its actually really safe for them, no one bothers them and police cant see them.

Pizza place located next door and they would wait till it closed to raid the garbage.

I didnt even knwo they where there until my ac guy told me about the couch on the roof with a TV set.

These guys had it made.

yeah, I agree with Ron...I've always though to myself....a roof wouldn't be a bad place to be if you had nowhere else to go. You could keep warm with the air coming from the HVAC units and you're out of site from the public...Most roofs have satelite dishes on them now, so hooking up a tv would be no sweat, there are always plug ins on the roof for the swamp coolers used for makeup air...lots of goodies up there.
