What the caller told the secretary in the office is very different from what I actually saw out there.

Mark wants bid for exhaust cleaning. They were closed
for over a year after a fire. They were using XXXXXX
XXXXXXX. A brand-new exhaust system was installed 5
months ago. I told him the price would be at least
$X85. It was a bit rich for his blood, but he still
wants to talk. He wanted to know what the regular
maintenance would cost.

That dryer hose is really a nice touch. Talk about flammable. You got to have a sense of humor in this business.
 
I'd say they might have gotten a new fan up top, but that is about it.I would sell them a good initial cleaning and new filters if it caught fire and the filters took any of the heat, speaking of which are there any guidelines for when/if a filter should be rpelaced if it is involved in a fire??
 
Such a nice fan for such a whack hood ... Has anyone over in your area ever bought a stainless steel hood... ???? That hood looks like some of the old pizza hut hoods around here...
Since I sell Vent Hoods by captive -aire and airelator when I see a hood like that I call in lemuel my hood expert and close friend and get the guy a quote on a new hood..


I cleaned a steel hood at a fish house about 2 weeks ago , the manager called me back and said the hood is really clean , you did a great job, BUT is there a way to get rid of all this rust.
