Thank You Doug Rucker. You Are A Pure Genius!!!

I've been having a bit of trouble lately with one of my back-up machines. It's been doing a lot of spuddering and running like pure poop. While texting with Doug this morning I mentioned that I was gonna go pick up my rig and bring it home to work on it among other things. Doug was kind enough to let me in on a secret solution. Apparently going old school on it and KICKING it is the Doug Rucker mechanic tip of the week....Hahahaha! Just kidding. Actually I will let Doug tell that story.

Anyway, what he really suggested was to remove the air filter and see if that made a difference. BINGO! She started to purrrr like a kitten as soon as I removed it. He also informed me that your supposed to change them once in awhile. Who knew? Hahaha!

Thank You Mr, Rucker. You actually saved me a bunch of grief.

If anyone is having trouble with any of their machines feel free to give Doug a call day or night. He will have you up and running in no time!

I just changed out my air filters the other day and they seem to run a little bit better also. hahahahaha

I need to be doing this regularly.

Actually, every time I call Russ Johnson or Paul Kassander with a problem with my engine, they always say "when's the last time you changed/checked your air filter"

I always say if you want to be a genius and can't be one, just imitate one.

And the correct number to reach me about any mechanical needs is 1-800 Dial a Prayer, you'll have much better success there than calling me.

Id pay $1.99 for that course

Its not a course. Its a texting excursion. The client texts me the problem, I text Doug, he texts back and I let the client know where, when and how hard to kick the machine.

But remember to change the air filter before kicking it!, just to make sure the kick do its job.
