"Take your child to work day"

Tomorrow, after a two year interruption of life, my oldest will be accompanying me on a deck sealing job.

I'm excited, she's been asking about it the last two years but circumstances didn't permit.

This year its going to happen, I already cleaned the deck, now it just needs sealed, if we work diligently enough, we may squeeze in a house wash.

Every day is take your child to work day at my house. They hate it, until they start to get a bit older and see the value of it. I don't take them out of school for work, though.

Well, it was an awesome day. We had fun, talked about calculating square footage and how much the stain covered per gallon. I've had her help do things around the house in the past, but this was a bigger deal for her. Reminded me of when I was little and helped my dad out with jobs.

I have had to bring my son in to work many times cause of daycare conflicts. They're closed school holidays when we're open. That is always interesting. A five year old in an office setting...bless his heart. We make sure to bring a bunch of DVDs and snacks and I take a longer break to take him to a local park or playground during lunch. :thumbup2:

Not as fun as washing though.

I took my two week old yesterday to post condos and townhomes we will be washing this week! I put her in the stroller and wheeled her around the neighborhood!!!

Good Stuff!!!!!!!!!!!
