Swearing

Nope, never

NEVER EVER is profanity allowed on a residential site. Commercial, as long as the store is closed. Industrial, well it's industrial language. Smoking follows the same rules.

Funny story about this. Yesterday we had plumbers installing something at our shop, and they did all of the above "no-no's". It was a father and son plumber plus a helper. These guys were at each other the entire time, even when we were right next to them. They were hollering cursing slamming doors in anger, and I thought to myself; I would never let these guys in my house. It just looks horrible when looking at it from an outsiders perspective. I would lose my mind if one of my employees even thought of doing something like that.

There are worse things than cussing, like a subcontractor I've heard of who was on detox and pissed in the clients yard every 30 minutes while staining a deck!

Law enforcement is the only job where swearing at everybody is considered appropriate. They get some leeway because their limited education and low IQ requirements prevents them from communicating without swearing.
