Swearing

Never. Even if they do, I dont. Nobody notices when you DONT curse, but everyone notices when you do.

I caught myself a couple of times before even with a mindset against it. I have seen lots of other companies let it fly and my opinion of was definitely affected. We will be implementing a "Don't Be A Costanza" policy.

I'm not going to lie I have!! Depends on who they are, I have a real close relationship with a few people we do buisness with and I have conversed with them using not so nice words? I dont make a Fuk-in habit out of it but it happens !!

I don't swear. It makes it easy because I never have to monitor my language.

I sure hope I haven't. My wife and I both quit cussing all together about 6 months ago! It was extremely hard at first but once you get the hang of it it's not bad at all. Now when I hear other people doing it, it makes me think, "man, did I sound like that"..

The F-Bomb is out of the question, but Rat Bastard is common occurrence in my vocabulary...

I try to keep it "Professional" though!
:ignore:

I took my kids to get snow cones last summer when some guys were pressure washing a house about three lots away. They were cussing up a storm, and I'm sure they were screaming to hear each other over their equipment. But boy, their voices sure carried all the way to where we were. Just a reminder...people can hear you on the job too!

make a habit of not swearing ever, and you'll never slip in front of a customer. I think too many people use swearing because they aren't intelligent enough to fill sentences with other words.

That is what my Mom always said. If we swore, and she heard us, the penalty was wishing you were dead.

I routinely have talks with my crew about language. I sell my biz on professionalism and I tell them a homeowner in a heart beat would call the property manager if we were swearing. I don't allow it or arguing on job site. I will tear them a fricking new azzhole if I catch them swearing or arguing

I also tell them if a customer swears at them, they don't have to listen to it and tell the customer to call me and then walk away
