... I came to the conclusion that the stripes were caused by the area concerned getting a double wash with the overlap from the next pass. I tend to try to do a half pass over the last strip washed. I eye the centre of the rotowasher with the edge of the last pass that way the whole area gets a double wash. Sounds a bit time consuming because you cover the area somewhat slower but you don't have to go over missed spots and the striping doesn't appear.
This is a great video and goes a long way to explaining why you are getting striping.
Larger volume and higher pressure machines are far less prone to striping.
then the surface just isn't as clean as it can get.

When doing flat work we are getting overlap stripes is there anything that can stop this or break it up besides cutting in the area after?
