Staining Apitong decking?

Anyone know anything about apitong wood? It's a Malaysian hardwood. We just replaced all the wood on our flatbed and put this stuff back on there. I've seen some flatbed trailers That have this stuff stained. Wasn't sure what to use on it. Anyone have any suggestions on staining it?

If it's hardwood just use some Armstrong Clark and rub it in.

Is it pretty new?
