We have used the ST-2305 gun since we started but right now i think 3/4 of our guns are leaking. Is this normal for 6 months of use for these? Are there better options out there to avoid leaking this early?
I'm using ST1500's and they haven't started leaking at 9 months. I was using General pump guns and they lasted about a month. Once in a while the St1500 will leak for a few minutes, then stop. I think it is debris or something trapped somewhere down the line.
I think there are two different ones. I ordered a rebuild kit and they sent me the wrong one the first time. Maybe you got the other ones. No problem with SH or anything going through them.I hated the 1500's. I always had the worst luck with them. Glad they work for you.
I use the Suttner 2605 I believe, relaxed action guns. You pay a few more bucks for them but they are well worth it. With other guns my hand start cramping up on me. I normally get about 6 or 8 months use out of them. When they go I just toss them, not worth rebuilding them to me.
2605's for me... and spares in the tool box.. rebuilt kits at the shop...btw....... sometimes debris can get caught in the ball.. try cleaning it out.... or just rebuild it..I use the Suttner 2605 I believe, relaxed action guns. They also work the unloader and pump to death.Low grade guns are like low grade boots. You can make them work and save some money, but sometimes the savings ain't worth the pain.
