So long pump spayers

I'm finally gonna get rid of my manual pump sprayers and upgrade to a electric 115v chemical sprayer likely a shurflo. What PSI/GPM's would be comparible to manual pump sprayers? I'm using them just for applying soap (still brushing a few), cleaners and acid for fleet washing. Any recommendations?

No electric sprayer is going to be comparable...any of them will blow the pump sprayer away.

Here's a good one...

Thanks Guys.
I was thinking of putting my own set-up together using a 1.4GPM/60PSI Shurflo pump 150' 1/4" hose. Running off of my 115v generator. I think I can put one together for less than the units mentioned.

Keep in mind that you cannot as easily haul around a generator, as you can a battery, like the deckster. A compact, self contained unit, in my opinion is far better then either the weight of a generator, or the hassles of an extension cord. I am pretty sure that shur flo makes a 12 volt pump.

On the money!

I was just going to connect it to the 115v generator that is already on my system and fasten the chemical pump in the truck and use 150' of 1/4" chemical line.

I would make sure that pump can handle what you are gonna give it.If not check into an air diaphram pump a one and done deal there.

I don't doubt the deckster is a good product but I don't think it is what I am looking for. I just need an on demand chemical pump that will do spot spraying of soap or acid washing of cattle pods, horsetrailers, fuel tanks and wheels. As long as I don't have to stop and manually pump it up I'm happy. I'm spending $75.00 per manual sprayer (I keep 4 on the truck and 1 spare) cost wise and time wise they are not practical. So if I have to pull around 150' of 1/4" hose so be it. I just want to make sure that the pump I buy will do the job.

I would go with a battery setup, if the pump goes bad the 12v flojets or shurflos at 2pgm are like 60 bucks. It will last a while but inevitably the acid takes a toll, much like your pump sprayers I imagine.

On top of that almost every pesticide company and co operative keeps them in stock.

The 1.8 @ 100 psi shurflo is the most popular one for the 12v that is what I would reccommend. For 115v I would go with the 1.6 @100 psi pump.

Or you could use the twin pump system which has everyting plus 300' of hose so you could have two going or a backup.

Paul do you have a similar set-up in the 115v pump?
