As most of you know, I fired almost everybody 14 guys over the last two months because of stealing, attitudes and general bs, I had enough. Its been tough lots of work too much work. However, I found a few newbees with zero experience, who wrk cheap while they learn. Today. We are doing a parking garage, and Im sitting in the truck relaxing and doing paperwork catch up. I think they got it! But Im here just in case.

Oh don't worry they'll blow it too, get used to it.

See you in a few weeks.

That's funny! Keep us posted on how the transition goes. I have been almost to that point of getting rid of a few guys only to chicken out due to upcoming work. When I was in the field everyday with the guys I would fire a guy in a heart beat but after being off the wand for some time now it becomes tougher to let someone go. I know it shouldn't be that way but in my case as well as many others this seems to be the common route. Good luck, I hope it works out great.

When you guys have had enough just do it. Im not going to lie, I was scared, but all of the daily hassles were killing me, you know how much stress running a business is when things are going well, but when everyday it is a new problem that you had no control over AND you are paying them top dollar s#*@. Im not going to do it. Ill tell you what, Im fourty three and Ill still blow the doors off any of my guys with a wand. LOL it has been a lot of work but the freedom and relief that Im feeling being back in total control of everything is something that Im not going to give up again. These new guys are cheap, want to work. Are grateful for it and know that they have a future. But the biggest thing is, the only way they know how to do this work will be the way I tought them, MY WAY

When I was moving heavy equipment I worked for a guy that really didn't say to much when someone screwed something up or broke something. His motto was "give them enough rope and they'll eventually hang themselves with it" so he just kept feeding them the rope until they eventually did.

Hey Robert, u are spot on. When u are standing over them they work just fine, but trying to get someone to replace u is near impossible. I know that some here have had great success with employees like Ron & Jeff and a few others. Your better off doing what your doing now, train some young bloods that have no idea how to wash. I hate to say it but mexicans are some of the best workers out there, they just keep working until u say stop, u just need to find one that speaks english, then he can communicate to the others.
