congrats Lenny!

Is it possible someone could fax or email me the proposal, i would greatly appreciate it.

I am new to pressure cleaning, we just finished cleaning/sealing 11 awnings at a strip center and the PM wants a price for the flatwork.

This proposal sheet sounds like just the thing we could use.

Thanks,

Lenny the reason you got them is because you got off your butt and tried. iTs easy, everyone should try.

Lenny whats your entire yearly income from just those two centers? if you dont mind me asking. I dont think people realize you have steady income all year long.

pretty soon you won't be waiting for that phone to ring. you wont need a phone..LOL just kidding..

I'm glad you and a couple others took this serious, My phone is always open.

A gentleman called me Friday and I said I’d call back I lost the number so could you call me today. I will not be busy.

I can help you with those props today. Sorry 6026942680

Ron,

I only have the one center to do right now. I beleave I will be getting 3 more after the pm sees what kind of work I do. I will be getting close to $900 for this one center for the initial cleaning. If he has me do it monthly it will generate over $5000 a year. I think he plans on going with it quarterly, that will still be over $2500 a year for this one center.

I looking forward to getting more business from this company.

You were right Ron, It was easy to messure and send it out. All I had to do to get the property manager name was call the leasing agencey. The were glad to give it out.

Yes, it took me a while to get off my can to do it. I thought I needed to wait for the right time. Just go for it. The worse they can do is say no. After I get a few of these to do for a while I might be able to go full time pressure washing. I think it will be easier to do commericial contracts in place of residential. That way you know how much work you have and what kind of income there will be.

I'm still not going to disconect my phone yet. LOL

Congratulations Lenny!!

I have a question for you. How do you word it when you tell them the initial cleaning price compared to the contract price? And when do you tell them this information? In your initial letter? On your initial bid sheet????

Mike,
Like Ron said, submit the proposal for a monthly cleaning. This will get the pm's interest. After we talked and he said he propable would only be going for a quarterly cleaning I told him it would be more and that the inital cleaning would also be more. He seamed liked he expected it. Jon told me when he asked why it would be more just tell him there is more dirt to clean it it would take longer. I believe Ron said it should be about double the monthly cleaning. One of the centers I priced is not very bad so I am waving the initial cleaning price and start at the contract cleaning price.

I want to do a good job and make a far wage but if we charge too much you will not get a contract and that is what we are looking for.

Ron puts it better. You might go back and reread his post about bidding

Then copy and paste what is impoortant to you and save it for future referance

Thanks Lenny.
I remember what Ron said, I was just wondering how you worded it and how you explained it. There are a few centers I measured that already have a cleaning company and I am going to be doing demo's. I didn't remember reading anything about not charging the "double" for initial cleaning since they were already being cleaned and was just making sure I was doing the right thing.

Yes ron, I received two mailings, thanks. they look good.
