Santa...UUMMmm...It's Me

She is just bruised up air bags saved the day. she flew through four lanes of traffic into a ditch and launched off the back side into another ditch full of water. the police officer that was behind her said she should have been a pilot the way she landed the car. I sat in bed last night thanking god her and her friends weren't hurt or killed.

Glad to hear she is going to be ok Greg. If it was me I don't think I would want to drive anywhere for at least a few weeks after an accident like that though.

Guys glad everybody is ok Guy that thing you had could have been terrible I think both of you must have had a great co pilot with you.Vince one word Izuzu lol there not fancy or powerful but they are tough as nails.

I agree with hal buy an npr and be done. it doesn't get you there fast but it always gets you there.

I've looked at those trucks and actually like them. Only 1 problem though. I clean parking garages and have to stay under 6'5" with my truck. My F-450 barely clears some of the ones I have to go into to clean.

Vince I hope the new year brings you some better luck I have had share of bad luck this year but you as well my friend. The deposit thing an now the truck good luck in the new year.

It's the new 6.7L diesel. I got rid of the 6.0L diesel because it was giving me problems. I hate to admit it but I think the 6.7L is worse than the 6.0L in my opinion. My truck was one of the first ones made though in 2011 when they went to the 6.7L
Vince I sure hope the 6.7 is better than the 6.0's were,I just bought a brand new f-250 earlier this year. Its been great so far.

It's a series of isuzu medium duty trucks the engine is 300k rated before a rebuild. I have had 2 diesels an the one I have now is gas due incident of my bad luck.Never had one let me down knock on wood. They are rated up to I think 15000 to 18000 if you get the hd one.The heavier duty is the nqr.

Most of the problems are with the cab/chassis models. Ford detunes them and puts a different turbo on them. My truck is rated for 300 HP with 660 ft lbs of torque versus 400/800.

I actually thought about going back to a F-250 and putting everything on a trailer........not.

Thanks Hal I'll probably need good luck for next year. I just try not to get upset and take everything in stride is all.

A couple of years ago I was at a large truck body company here in Portland. They had a whole bunch of late model cabover Econoline ambulances that they were pulling the ambulance boxes off of and putting them on brand new Chevy cabover chassis'. I asked why and was told that it was because of the high failure rate of the Ford diesel engine. The ambulance company had apparently had enough.

Yeah pulling a trailer everyday sucks.I would like a flatbed myself.

I like my daily driver. Roush Raptor. It is a blast.

Let Me Guess......6.0 Diesel, right?

Had my share of 6L issues dumped mine just recently 2003 with 40k mi paid for at least twice with all the repairs...
