"We Just Brought Sexy Back" -Did you really send that to customers? How was the response?
I ordered only 250 hangers as an experiment. The response was pretty good. For only 200, we've got a 5000sq ft house and a few pending quotes. This is only a week after we handed them out. We might get some more calls from this little campaign. I consider that a success

I personally believe that when it's a flyer (door hanger), it should has minimum content, something funny to attract the customer at first glance, and a HUGE picture.
Nowadays consumers are tired of soliciting and advertisement. They are also lazy to read a whole bunch of information. But when it's a simple message or just a picture, there is less reading effort and distraction, and bigger chance for the flyer to not go straight to the garbage can

Mike, in regards to another post you had. We had some pissed customers who did not want any sort of soliciting and did not like the direct door to door approach. An old lady even said that she (and her neighbors) pay extra taxes to not get any sort of soliciting
.. That was an upper class district with lot's of snobbish and unfriendly "fellas"
... That made me do a little research. This is what I found out:
If it is a closed community and there is a Sign- "No Soliciting", then soliciting of any sort is unlawful.
Every city has it's own soliciting regulations which have to be checked.
Soliciting in HOA is not a good idea without the permission of the HOA.
Direct speaking to a customer with intent to sale a service or product is considered soliciting by law; Some cities require soliciting permit for door to door sales.
Hanging door hangers or flyers without speaking to the customers is considered handing information.
Now, none of the above is really enforced, but it's a useful info I think..
