I know Im just kidding. Im not one who frets about local competition, as long as they offer a quality service and price right. I have no doubt you guys will do awesome.

I wish I could convince myself that the commercial stuff is big $$, I just dont see it...at least not until you get russ or rons size.

Contracts are where its at....steady money coming in all the time...
As soon as the new rig is all put together and ready to roll..were going on the attack!!

I chased the work for a little while to build up a consistent paycheck. It is hard work getting them to sign on the dotted line however after its over and done with, you can establish a set schedule and you will always have something to do that will make you money. The key here with commercial work is you have two choices. Either be on one side of the fence or the other. I pass off any residential calls i get now and focus solely on commercial accounts.

The second decision to make is do you want to do all the work yourself with a helper or take the larger approach and setup numerous trailers and workers to handle 10-30 properties nightly.

Nice pic, do your employees have the option to get paid mileage and use their personal vehicle or do you provide them company vehicles

Yes they do, they get mile and some get a flat rate plus fuel. I like it, I have had over 25 vehicles. Its alot nicer this way, but you have solid people.

No one uses there own vehicle unless they have been with me 8 years.

Sales and supervisors drive company trucks.

Some take rigs home others return to shop...its nicer if they have there own. We run two shifts and 26 guys share a rig. The others have there own company rig they use and take home.

Ron just wanted to clarify, are some of your crews are subcontractors with their own rig?

Or are all crews staffed with employees?

Whats the ratio Ron. Employees to subs?

Any of you subs have multiple crews?

As I mentioned in Vegas I am a sub on most of my snow work, it has its advantages for both parties.
