In order to drum up some business, I was considering typing up a flyer of sorts to highlight some benefits of having your property cleaned. I was going to intentionally stop at houses with buildup on siding/roofs and try and talk with them personally and hand them a flyer with my business card (or leave it at the door if no one was home). This is a relatively new type of service to my area. I was told someone did some pressure washing many moons ago, but I don't know to what extent it was done. There's a window cleaner in the area that does some of the businesses here town, but that's about it. I'm curious if it would be pushy to try and close the sale on the spot or just offer to do an estimate for them and thank them for their time. I'm not exactly the salesman type, but I'm going to have to learn and get outside my comfort zone if I want to succeed. Just wondered if anyone has done anything like this and to what extent they've seen results.
