Anybody have comments/suggestions on mixing some additional sodium hydroxide to Purple Power?
I had tried the Purple Power a while back and it did an ok job.
You really have to be careful when trying to blend your own chemicals, especially when dealing with acids or caustics as they can easily and quickly cause irreversible permanent damage.
Thats why I have grown this 6th toe?
What are you washing with it? We do it for de-greasing cranes for a recycling company, does a great job and the customer is amazed how we can clean their cranes and they can't.
Purple Power is very weak compared to most commercial grade degreasers sold by me and other guys on here. If you get a good product, you can dilute it down to purple power strength if thats what you want and be a LOT cheaper than purple power!!!! I can understand using it in a pinch, but really for what you are getting it costs a lot! Example one of my products I sell for $50 a bucket locally, its at least 3 times stronger than purple power and I looked yest. out of curiosity at the price of purple power in a local parts store and it was $25 for 5 gal. Thats $5/ gal, mine diluted to same strength (prob. still stronger) would make 15 gal. for $50, thats $3.33/ gal. !!!!! That will add up majorly over a years time if you use much!!! I ain't saying ya gotta buy from me, but find you a supplier that sell good quality cleaners and degreasers (several on here) and support them. Also when you do need something stronger, you will have it!!!
