Hey everyone,

I am just getting started in the pressure cleaning/concrete sealing business and I just got my pressure washer. I have it in a 14 foot E350 box truck. I have a lot of experience with pressure washers, but this is more advanced and much larger than anything I have worked with. My washer is a Water Cannon, here's the link to what I bought:

My questions are; first, the fitting where the source hose is supposed to fit onto the pump seems to be too large, the opening is almost 1 inch. (You can see it on the picture if you enlarge it, the silver fitting on the pump.) The operator's manual, as crappy as it is, says to use at least a 3/4' diameter garden hose. So, I cut the hose to clamp it on and it is not even close to fitting on there. So, I guess I need a 1' diameter garden hose but the problem is that I can't find one. So, where can I get that, or, is there some kind of attachment I can put on the washer so that I can directly hook up the hose without cutting it.
Second, the exhaust from the motor points one way while the vent for the burner is on the other end, so how can I rig it so that my box truck won't fill up with fumes?

Thanks everyone for their input as again, I am very new and need all the help I can get.

Thanks again,

Since that machine can put out 8 gallons a minute I would recommend a tank with a 1" feed line to the machine and have a 3/4" inlet to the tank. This will allow you to use any garden hose for a supply and the tank will give you a buffer for the small tank on the machine. It does't have to be a 250+ gallon monster tank, but a small (50 gallon?) so you dont run dry. As for the exhaust, can you plumb a pipe to change the direction? I don't have any other ideas for you. We run all our machines from pickup beds or open trailers.

Thanks for the interest Russ. It is going very well. I've got my truck all set up and the pressure washer is plumbed and working great. I've also got about 20K in business lined up and just got approved for an operating line of credit through a bank. So, things are finally moving. I've got my first cleaning and sealing job this week.

Thanks,
