Playground Equipment

With spring time fast approaching, I am looking in to marketing to daycare, churches and municipalities for cleaning outside play sets. I am looking at using my standards house wash mix of 2 parts water, 3 parts SH 12.5% and simple cherry. Does anyone have experience cleaning these? Is SH ok to use on the plastic? What is the going rate for the play sets? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

I marketed to the daycares, schools, and HOA's that have playground equipment this summer and not to burst your bubble....it was immediate shut down.

1. Daycares- They have a janitorial staff that cleans the inside and they also clean the playground equipment, because it has to be done daily.

2. Schools - Same as above - except for the daily part

3. Playgrounds - they could care less...

this is just my 2 cents on the subject and baiscally every one I called in the Denver Metro area gave me the same excuse. Good Luck

My experiences have been similar to Nicole's. I had some luck with adding them on to sales when housewashing or working on wood, but what I could charge was variable.

I never sat down to figure a good price, just responded when asked about it by the homeowner. Since it was usually an afterthought, I don't think it is something many folks are interested in for its own sake.

How were you thinking of charging?
