I am building a website and was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to donate some before and after pic's untill I have some of my own. I am looking for flat work as well as deck and fence picures. I don't want to post picutes of work that exceed what I am capable to do. So the more the better. Thank you :D

The only way to get pics that show what your capable of doing is take them of your own work. Do some work at your house and your friends houses. It's kind of like false advertising if you put someone else's pics up.

I like your alligator pic, reminds me of Florida!

Chris is right. You need to have a story to tell about each picture you use as advertising. You'd hate to have a potential client ask you about a pic on your site and not know the circumstaces surrounding it. Someone calls and says: "boy that looked like a real pain to get that clean, how'd you do it?" Your answer is...Uh I dunno, click.

If you've got the courage to do it, the way I got some of my best shots getting started was actually approaching a homeowner, only after you've got your methods down after practicing by doing freebies for friends & family. For example: you notice an exceptionally nasty driveway in front of a nice home. Stop and present yourself to the h/o (only if it's legal in your area of coarse), and state that your looking to get some good b&a shots to put on your site and that their driveway would be a great addition. Offer your services at a discounted rate if you really want it.

I did this for a roof cleaning shot I wanted, a house I drove by everyday and knew I could really make it look good, and I still use them in a slideshow on my homepage.

Do some free work and take some pictures. I make a list of addresses around town that have certain things that I want pictures of mainly a small dirty sidewalk, rust on a vinyl fence or driveway which is only a few minutes of work. I just knock on the door and ask if they would like it cleaned free of charge and I just take the pictures. Its also a good time to try out some new chemicals and get your ratios down. That way you can say there your pictures and your work.

Hey David you can go to my house in Woodstock and clean my fence for some before and afters. I think the drive is clean, not to sure as it is a rental of mine.

lol, that's funny!
