Title: Parking Garage Cleaning 101 — Why the Right Gear and Training Make All the Difference
There are a lot of contractors out there doing garage-cleaning work. The biggest mistake many make is going in without the proper equipment, thinking you can get the job done like everyone else. If you don’t have at least a 5.5 gpm @ 3000 psi HOT pressure-washing rig you’re setting yourself up for frustration, and your customer will likely be disappointed. On jobs where I show up with equipment that delivers 11 gpm at 3500 psi hot, along with full wash-water recovery gear, the job becomes much faster and easier. The customer sees good results — and that is always the final goal.
Yes, even my wife tells me I forget things sometimes. That is exactly why every time I teach a garage-cleaning class I keep lecture to a minimum and make sure there is plenty of time for questions and answers. I assume most attendees already know the basics of pressure washing, but often their questions uncover real-world problems or situations I never would have thought to include in a traditional presentation. Next time I teach I plan to take detailed notes of those questions so I can build an even more useful, practical class.
If you are serious about doing garage cleaning right I strongly recommend participating in a professional class through UAMCC or a similar organization. Here are a couple of past examples of training or events related to parking-garage cleaning:

If you have not yet invested in the right gear and training, you may be doing yourself — and your customers — a disservice.
Parking garage cleaning requires proper equipment, safety precautions, and a solid plan to remove dirt, oil stains, and debris efficiently. Hiring experienced teams ensures the job is done thoroughly and on schedule. Many businesses trust services like house cleaners sarasota because they offer reliable, professional cleaning for large areas. Regular maintenance keeps garages safe, clean, and more inviting for users.
