I've been pretty apprehensive about starting this thread, as alot of you have been trying to help us out as we were shopping. I just want to say that that all of your thoughts, opinions and advice where not posted in vain!
Alot of thought went in to the purchase. A few of the main reasons where;
1) We needed a clean and totally unmolested rig,
2) We needed something reliable,
3) We needed something "turn key" and ready to go to work,
4) We needed something that would be within our $3,000 budget.
5) We needed something that we could tow safely behind our Jeep Cherokee.
All of our needs were met, and we still have $500 left over!
Now for some history on the rig...
The skid was purchased from Shelter Clean in '06. It was mounted on a brand new trailer in Sept. of last year with a new 230 gallon tank, hoses, hose reels and plumbing. The machine was gone through with a new LT4035/l Pump, Uploader, Pulleys and belts.
The price tag was right at $6,000, so i'd say we did okay.
Thanks again, to all who helped on our decision.
I just want to publicly thank Jim Cooney for the many PM's, emails, and especially, the 37 minute phone call that we had just a few hours prior to our purchase.
Here she is...
Let the fun begin...
