The pictures are great Lou!

Do you ever drag the managers or owners up there to show them what you see besides the pictures as I am sure a lot of those people are duped into believing that the job is getting done properly when they hire the lowbidders/lowballers/hacks out there.

It would be nice if they would go up there and see for themselves so there is no doubt whatsoever and really see the "great price work" that they are paying for.

The one making the decision hasn't seen them yet her husband has and he was shocked.

Good point Jim, Haha!! Lou, maybe you can start selling epoxy coatings to coat the hood vents/stacks, then the grease won't stick.

It is likely lack of education.

When I started out in restaurant management we just knew that once a year these had to be done. Heck, half the time we had a hard time figuring out who the company was doing our work. It would take weeks to find the info out if they did not give us a reminder call.

All we cared about was the fact that they left one heck of a mess for the next morning. We would never even think to check on them. Chances are anyone could have called us and told us it was time for our cleaning and we would have told them to come on down.

Things improved over the years for our company, but this was seriously what it was like.
