What is this products name? I'm sure it's not called the "new x-jet"

It is caled theX-Jet M5. I talked with Mike Baker today and they are shipping me the first shipment Monday. The variable nozzle on the end will adjust to a 60 degree pattern so you will not need a close range nozzle. I just confirmed the price today and that is one of the reasons I had been waiting on announcing it. The price is $179.00 + shipping . I am taking pre orders now and will be shipping the first one's out by next Friday. Mike tested the range using a 5 gpm @ 3000 psi machine and it was 44.6' horizontal and stated it would shoot further vertical. I will be posting pictures of it in action as soon as they arrive.

Sounds great! My x-jet is from April of 1999 and it's still ticking........like a Timex...........it just won't die.

Steve, what size chem line does it come with? length and od/id?
this device deserves the best invention award for a pressure washing tool. my biggest complaint with using a close range nozzle is getting the right one which is impossible,i have resorted to making my own close range nozzles and they are unsatisfactory. i cant wait to get my hands on this new device.

3/8" hose x 15'. I will post the pictures as soon as they arrive. I know the first shipment will go fast so reserve yours soon.

is it possible to put a 1/4 inch line and longer line on the unit. My current one runs 1/4 hose about 35 feet long.

Yes, but I run 30' of 3/8" on the one I use now and I am sure you could run 35'

You must specify when ordering, they have an interchangeable orifice just like the original X-Jet. I keep extra orifices in stock anyway. I will keep everyone informed as much as possible.

If I am not mistaken they will go down to a 2.5 gpm and would require a #7 orifice. I will check with Ron Strickland tomorrow and let you know for sure Friday. I will be out of town tomorrow.
