I picked up a couple year old W3500/npr. Having a 15 ft aluminum bed built we are going to put a 500 gal tank, two 8gpm machines a dedicated gas powered chem pump, four hose reels. a deck under the last 3 ft of the bed will hold surface cleaners. I haven't decided if I'm going to put burners on it yet as its mainly for apartment/condo cleaning.

It looks like it's coming along great.

Looks like a very well designed frame.

Are you always going to be carring 500 Gallons of water ( 4,175 lbs ) plus your 2 washers if you put on the burners ( 1,700 lbs) 4 hose reels ( with hoses ( 400 lbs aprox) 2 surface cleaners ( 100 lbs) Plus odds and ends. Thats approaching 6,300 lbs and water weight is considered a different animal than dry weight. That would be murder on your braking system alone.

I am sure that you figured all the ratio's out though.

For those who have not figured it out with a cat program, you need to consult with an engineer when you are approaching the 85% or more for the pay load limits for safety reasons. Also check local and state / FEDERAL DOT requirements.

Great setup. Can't wait to see it.

Jim its being built by a company that has been in the business of building custom trucks for the spraying industry for 30 years. They have it all figured out I went with their recommendations on the bed. I actually wanted to put a 700 gallon tank on it but was advised against it. Even though I never run with more than 150 gallons it would be to close to my gvwr.I have a older npr setup the same way but with tote tanks so I'm familiar with driving with the weight.

Hey Greg, looks like it will work well. Hope to see ya at the R/T

hey nick whats up. have you been busy. If I get it done in time I'll bring the truck to the florida RT.

We had a real busy April, hope all is well, look forward to seeing the new rig.;)

My april was very busy as well. I got ten miles of miami curbs to start tomorrow. I'm not looking foward to it I rolled my ankle last thursday.

Sounds like fun, that curbing goes pretty quick and you should get right through it!!
